It was a good night last night. Cold as a mutha and the home team lost but the great company (thanks Marti and Donna) made it all worth it.

First of the Season

First Rockies game of the season (well, my season) tonight and I'm a little stoked. Marti and I are preparing for our usual, warm clothes and rainsuits. To our recollection we've never been to a Rockies game together where it hasn't rained.

I have been surrounded by friends lately and it's beautiful, I need to always remember that friends are friends no matter where I am in other relationships and not take them for granted.

New Day for You....

All settled in to the new place (finished pics to be added soon) and trying to build some new habits.

I've been reading a little more, watching TV and stagnating on the internet a little less--except to commune with close friends, who are always wonderful. I'm trying to get out and be social and my friends are being great about that. I went to church for the first time in several years and it was, at the same time, familiar and new. Even though I'll only be able to go every other week for a while, I think it is something I would benefit from continuing.
