Friday Five
1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why?
History. I liked American History, Geography and even Ohio History (which we HAD to take as sophmores and everyone hated it but I loved it). I've always been a history buff, even as a kid. I used to go to the American Legion social hall with Dad and razz all his Vet friends. My #1 way of winning was to ask "What day did WWII begin for America"...the technical answer is December 12th, 1941, got 'em every time.
2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
I had several favorites. Larry Jones was one and Frank Wilson the other (both History teachers). Mainly because they kept things interesting in class, something that few teachers could.
3. What is your favorite memory of school?
Those who know me will think this is funny but Friday night football games. I am an amazing lover of autumn and I associate the crisp air and the sound of leaves rustling under my feet with going to and from Friday night High School football games.
4. What was your favorite recess game?
Not dodgeball ;-) Anything to do with balance, I had incredible balance as a child and could walk any rail or tightrope.
5. What did you hate most about school?
Being there. Mornings, probably. Math too, I hated math.
