I got a job! Actually I got several and had to choose....I think I chose wisely.

Just to show that "they only want you when you're taken", I had been doing some temp work for the better part of a week and then all of a sudden all the interview requests started coming in. I was offered two jobs, both in the web arena, one doing development work for a company that does FAQs, tutorials, etc. and the other, a banner specialist for Qwest Dex. I chose Qwest Dex, even though it was the lower paying of the two, because the job security is there (they're both contract positions but Qwest has more promise of being long-term or permanent).

I'm convinced there's nothing better on the planet than a turkey and stuffing sandwich....well, except a turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwich. The cranberries are in short supply around the house lately so I settled for the turkey and stuffing with mayo--on white of course--comfort food does not come wholegrain. What are your comfort foods?

If I never ate another french fry again I don't think I'd be missing anything. Don't get me wrong, I still love spuds but fries are just making me nauseous these days.
